MANCHESTER UNITED V FULHAM (OLD TRAFFORD, MANCHESTER)

PREDICTIONS
CHELSEA 2-1 WEST HAM UNITED
Chelsea are in good form following their Champions League win over Rosenborg. West Ham have been decent in recent weeks, but Chelsea will still fancy 3 points at home in the London derby.

BLACKBURN ROVERS 1-1 NEWCASTLE UNITED
Both sides suffered embarassing defeats in their last match, Blackburn losing 0-4 to Villa while Newcastle collapsed 0-3 to Liverpool. Both sides will fight hard to end their recent poor runs and a draw awaits.

PORTSMOUTH 2-1 EVERTON
Portsmouth are high-flying and they are growing in confidence, thanks to their African attacking quartet of Benjani, Kanu and Utaka. Everton are fresh from a 7-1 win over Sunderland, but Portsmouth have been far more consistent and should take all 3 points.

READING 1-0 MIDDLESBROUGH
Reading like to play a defensive game home or away, while Boro are simply poor on their travels. Both sides are in poor form, and a low-scoring win for the Royals should be about right.

SUNDERLAND 1-0 DERBY COUNTY
Sunderland enter this match on the back of a 1-7 mauling by Everton, while Derby have just had a managerial change following Billy Davies's sacking. Derby have struggled for goals while being porous in defence, but the Black Cats are not exactly prolific either. This should be a narrow win for Sunderland, being a glorious chance to end their 8-match winless run.

WIGAN ATHLETIC 1-1 MANCHESTER CITY
Wigan have just changed their manager, and the players will be looking to impress him to pin down a starting place. Wigan showed resilience in their defeat against Arsenal as they only conceded 30 mins after going down to 10 men. Manchester City are not that great away from home, and Wigan look good to snatch a point here.

ASTON VILLA 1-1 ARSENAL
Villa have won their last four games, including a 4-0 victory over high-flying Blackburn away from home. Arsenal are unbeaten in the EPL and are still top of the table, but their midweek defeat against Sevilla in the Champions League may have dampened their confidence. Villa may be able to get a point from this match.

LIVERPOOL 2-1 BOLTON WANDERERS
Liverpool won their midweek game against Porto and should be full of confidence. Bolton defeated Manchester United in their last league match, but a trip to Anfield should be too tough for them to get anything out of this match.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 2-0 BIRMINGHAM CITY
Under Juande Ramos, the Spurs defence has looked far more consistent and they are stringing together an unbeaten streak. Up against a chaotic Birmingham City side who are in poor form, Spurs look set to continue their charge up the points table.

MANCHESTER UNITED 3-0 FULHAM
The Red Devils lost their last match at Bolton 0-1 and will want to vent their frustrations on Fulham, who are poor on their travels. Both Rooney and Ronaldo will return for this match, which probably points to only one outcome: a United win, by a big margin.
