PREDICTIONS!!!111ONEONEONEoneoneone

ASTON VILLA 2 PORTSMOUTH 1
Villa are in good form, with 4 wins in their last 5 games. Against a Pompey side whose strikers have suddenly gone cold, Villa will see this as a good chance to push themselves further up the table.

CHELSEA 3 SUNDERLAND 1
Chelsea have strung together a long unbeaten run, while Sunderland just halted a 8-game winless run with a win over Derby. Still, Chelsea will be too good for the Black Cats, and will comfortably grab all 3 points to keep up the pressure on Arsenal.

EVERTON 2 FULHAM 0
Everton are in stunning form at the moment, being undefeated in 8 matches. Meanwhile, Fulham are probably the worst travellers in the league, with no wins in their last 23 away games, stretching back to last season. Everton will see this as a good opportunity for 3 points.

MANCHESTER UNITED 4 DERBY COUNTY 0
A United side with Ronaldo on fire and Rooney back from injury, both looking for goals. This can only spell trouble for bottom-of-the-table Derby, who have not scored since a stunning 1-0 win over Newcastle. Mauled 0-5 by West Ham, 0-5 by Arsenal, 0-6 by Liverpool and 0-4 by Spurs, another thrashing is in the house for the hapless Rams.

NEWCASTLE UNITED 1 BIRMINGHAM CITY 1
Newcastle ended a dismal losing streak with a 1-1 draw at home against leaders Arsenal. Alex McLeish meanwhile had a dream start as Birmingham manager with a 3-2 win at Spurs. With both sides looking to string together a run to push themselves up the table, expect a draw.

READING 1 LIVERPOOL 2
Reading are decent at home, but against the Reds who are in superb form, they will find it difficult to get anything out of the match. Torres scored a hat trick here in the League Cup earlier this season, and would love to have a repeat. Liverpool to win.

MIDDLESBROUGH 1 ARSENAL 2
Boro are in poor form at the moment, home and away. Against an injury-hit Gunners side, they will still be unable to defeat the league leaders. This would probably be an Arsenal win by a small margin, with Boro putting up a struggle but still ending up empty-handed.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 3 MANCHESTER CITY 1
Whenever Spurs are in town, expect entertainment. They score many goals, and concede just about as many as well. Spurs will be simmering from a 2-3 reverse at home against Birmingham last time out, and will be looking to set things right against City, who are not the best team on the road. Spurs should win this game.

BOLTON WANDERERS 1 WIGAN ATHLETIC 1
The battle of the Premier League strugglers. Bolton are fresh from a 0-4 reverse at Anfield, while Wigan battled to a deserved 1-1 draw against City, even though Wigan had captain Melchiot sent off in the second half. Both sides will be looking at this match cautiously, as they want a win to push themselves away from the dreaded relegation zone, but don't want a defeat as it would mean more trouble for them. Expect a stalemate.

BLACKBURN ROVERS 2 WEST HAM UNITED 1
Blackburn ended a dismal run of matches with a 3-1 comeback victory over the Magpies last weekend. They should be able to do the same against the Hammers, who are injury-hit and fresh from defeat at Chelsea in the London derby last weekend. Blackburn to nip the game by a small margin.
