Birmingham need a victory to have a chance of escaping the drop. In truth, even a win may not be enough if other results conspire against them. This could well send Birmingham down into the second-division wilderness.

The useless Blues take on already-safe Bolton at the Bridge, needing a win to have any chance of winning the title. Can they win Bolton 18-0? *sarcasm*

DERBY COUNTY 1 READING 2
Relegated Derby could well pull the Royals down with them if they can achieve a result here. Reading's urgency however could re-write the script. Derby to finish with lowest points total in BPL, ever.

EVERTON 1 NEWCASTLE UNITED 1
Everton need a draw to ensure qualification to next season's UEFA Cup, while the Magpies have nothing to play for. Boring stalemate awaits. Do not watch.

MIDDLESBROUGH 2 MANCHESTER CITY 2
Boro like to lift themselves against "big" teams, while City will want to give a nice farewell present to out-going manager Sven-Goran Eriksson. A thrilling match could ensue if either side notches an early goal.

PORTSMOUTH 0 FULHAM 2
Pompey continue to be distracted by their FA Cup final appearance at Wembley, as their domestic form continues to dip. Fulham are attempting to repeat a 'Portsmouth' or a 'West Ham', and they will pull it off. Fulham to beat the drop.

SUNDERLAND 2 ARSENAL 3
Sunderland are excellent at home and will definitely be a stern test for Arsene Wenger's young Gunners. Both sides have nothing to play for, but Sunderland will definitely put up a spirited display should Arsenal grab an early goal. In that case, let the goals flow.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 0 LIVERPOOL 1
Spurs and the Reds both have nothing to play for. Spurs have been far from impressive in recent weeks, and a scrappy, boring match may take place right here. Here's to a few yawns.

WEST HAM UNITED 1 ASTON VILLA 2
Villa still have a chance of making it into the UEFA Cup, if they win. They couldn't wish for easier opponents than West Ham (other than Derby), as the Hammers are in poor form and were thrashed 1-4 at Old Trafford by Man United. West Ham may want to put up a show for their disgruntled home fans, but it may not be enough.

WIGAN ATHLETIC 1 MANCHESTER UNITED 3
THIS is the match every pundit has been talking about. Could the poor state of the JJB Stadium pitch end United's title hopes? No, I say. The Red Devils have come this far and to throw away the title on the final day of the season will be a cardinal sin. The Red Devils to repeat last season's victory, scoreline included.
